Please stand up with either leg forward and get into the blocking position as shown in step one. Raise the knee as shown in step two. Kick the foot forward as shown in step three. Bend your knee and bring the foot back as shown in step four. Put the foot on the ground as shown in step five. Kicking is used when you cannot break free from someone’s hold by escaping. Kicks can be used when a person is outside of arm’s reach. You should aim for the thigh, shin or knee. You should also use the bottom of the foot and not the toes. You should practice the movement five times and do the quiz when you are ready. To watch the video you will have to press play.
