Please stand up and get into the blocking position as shown in step one. Put either foot forward as shown in step two. Lower your hand to your side like shown in step three. Swing your hand forward like shown in step four. Return to the blocking position like shown in step five. A hand strike is used when you cannot break free from someone’s hold by escaping. It can only be used when the person is very close to you. You should aim for the most sensitive part of the person that is within your reach. You should use the part of the arm that is near the tip of the elbow whenever possible. You should practice the movement five times and do the quiz when you are ready.
