Please stand up and get into the blocking position as shown in step one. Put either foot forward as shown in step two. Lower your hand at the side of your body as shown in step three. Punch upward aiming at the chin height with the opposite arm as the leg you chose to put forward as shown in step four. Bring the upper cut hand back to the blocking position as shown in step five. Punching is used when you cannot break free from someone’s hold while you are trying to escape. It works only if the person is within arm’s reach. You should aim somewhere sensitive. You should use the big knuckles on the thumb side of your fist to make contact. You should practice the movement five times and do the quiz when you are ready.
